She would be a Melody Violet? She's coming up to 6 weeks now.

I love it. My dd was very nearly a Melody.

LarrytheCucumber · 23/04/2017 23:00

No.

buttercup54321 · 23/04/2017 22:59

I think it is very pretty.xx

bridgetreilly · 23/04/2017 22:29

It's awful. Like a cartoon character.

redexpat · 23/04/2017 21:45

Rockaby Ive always thought that if I had twin dds I would call them Harmony and Melody.

Catherinebee85 · 23/04/2017 18:11

I love it. It reminds me of the Queens nose too and I always thought how pretty she was and how I'd live such a lovely name when I was little!

CainDinglesLeatherJacket · 23/04/2017 17:37

I really like it, but that might be because it reminds me of the Little Mermaid Blush

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 23/04/2017 17:28

Yes, it's lovely.😄

stevie69 · 23/04/2017 15:22

I'm not keen, if I'm perfectly honest, but it's all a matter of taste isn't it? The world don't move to the beat of just one drum and all that ....

EatsShitAndLeaves · 23/04/2017 15:21

Not really to be honest and I really dislike "Mel".

Rockaby · 23/04/2017 15:18

Agree with midnight. Elodie is a lot nicer imo.

MidnightSheep · 23/04/2017 15:17

I like it but spelt Melodie. But I really prefer Elodie Smile

shaggedthruahedgebackwards · 23/04/2017 15:15

I really like Melody

You don't come across many but no problems with spelling or pronunciation

gillybeanz · 23/04/2017 15:09

My friend is melo she's never called Melody, sometimes oddie or mostly Mel.
Her name is Melody, she's in her 20's.

Reow · 23/04/2017 15:08

No

Rockaby · 23/04/2017 15:07

YY red! I remember that program! That's clearly where I nicked the imaginary DD names from. , not even original! Grin

redexpat · 23/04/2017 15:06

The Queens nose!

ZilphasHatpin · 23/04/2017 15:01

Sorry, I don't like it. It reminds me of the dippy sister in the queens nose and the way her equally dippy mother would say the name.

Rockaby · 23/04/2017 14:59

It's quite nice.

It is a bit tainted for me though, as I remember saying when I was a teenager, that I really wanted to have two DDs named Harmony and Melody, so I now associate it with my teenage self and my slightly ott taste in names!

It also could get mixed up with Melanie maybe?

So, to be brief, it's not really to my taste, but if you love it, go for it!

CaulkheadNorth · 23/04/2017 14:57

No

FeedTheSharkAndItWIllBite · 23/04/2017 14:56

Yes, why not? It's nice.

WhispersOfWickedness · 23/04/2017 14:13

I love it! Go for it Smile

TheChippendenSpook · 23/04/2017 13:58

I really like it

elisa2502 · 23/04/2017 13:57

No too "clunky" and a bit dated now

Mothervulva · 23/04/2017 13:51

The Queen's Nose. Or Melody from CBeebies spring to mind. I'm not keen, don't like the shortening Mel.
