Our little newborn is a potential Noah, but is it just too popular?

There are at least 3 Noah threads!

RedRoseMummy · 22/04/2017 00:46

I have a 7yo one. We didn't know any when we named him. There are two in the class above him but they're the only other two in his school. I love it and it just completely is DS but I'd probably have thought twice if naming him since then. We have a younger DS named Ezra if you're looking for alternatives. He's nearly 2 and the only one I've come across 'in real life'.

Campfiresmoke · 22/04/2017 00:27

3 in my sons class and 4 across the year group (Year 1). They are known as Noah X, Noah Y etc.
What about Elijah? Elton John and David Furnish as well as Chris Evans have an Elijah.

Xmasbaby11 · 21/04/2017 21:19

Two, both toddlers.

NameChange30 · 21/04/2017 21:17

I think the ONS list would be a better indication than a MN thread Wink
They have regional as well as national statistics so you can see how popular it is in your area.

Munchkin1412 · 21/04/2017 21:14

3 under 3

LadyPenelope68 · 21/04/2017 20:44

I'm a teacher, we have 5 Noah's in our school.

sandgrown · 21/04/2017 20:39

My lovely DGSSmile

Sophronia · 21/04/2017 20:35

I know one who is about 10.

stonecircle · 21/04/2017 20:26

CPtart · 21/04/2017 20:23

Several. Hideous name. Sounds like a strained protest!

Cheerybigbottom · 21/04/2017 19:20

2, both 5/6 years old. Still lovely name though.

3littlebadgers · 21/04/2017 19:08

There are two in my class alone. and next door's rabbit is also Noah.

Reow · 21/04/2017 19:06

4

It's a lovely name but there are so many of them now.

TrickyKid · 21/04/2017 19:03

3, two aged 9 and one 14. It's a lovely name.

Mrsknackered · 21/04/2017 19:01

I have a Noah, I only knew of a late 20's Noah when I had him!
I now know of one a year younger than him (4) and a 7 year old.
I still love it and think I'd still choose it knowing that Smile

MarvellousMayhem · 21/04/2017 18:40

Lovely Name. I only know one. Popular in Queensland, Australia(number 5).

iloveredwine · 21/04/2017 18:32

A 12 year old and a 2 year old

Cammysmoma · 21/04/2017 18:30

Noah lot

Haha joking, I know 1!

GinIsIn · 21/04/2017 18:29
  1. One who is 9, and 3 who are under 2.
TheDowagerCuntess · 21/04/2017 18:27

I don't think the number people know is really any indication.

I know one, for what it's worth, but the fact remains that it's currently a popular name.

NappingRabbit · 21/04/2017 18:25

Two, both under 2.

RazzleeeDazzleee · 21/04/2017 18:03

Thank you Smile it does seem quite popular, but I think Violet is going to keep increasing in popularity!

GaladrielsRing · 21/04/2017 18:02

None. No violets either.
