I know she'd have to spell it out, but the same is true of many names and at least it's quite short! We have reasons for wanting Aerin rather than Erin.

How would you pronounce this? Air-in or E-rin? Or another way?

She'll be half Irish although we are in the Uk, would it be a strange name to have if she moved to Ireland?

Do you like Aerin?

Estee Lauder's granddaughter is called Aerin. It's a lovely name. I always assumed it was pronounced Air-in.

I would definitely say Air-in.
I don't dislike it but it's not a name I've heard before so it would take a bit of getting used to for me :)

I'm Irish and I've never heard of it. Erin yes but not a Aerin. She'll be forever spelling it and telling others how to pronounce it.
