I really love the name Ivy (our daughter is a week old) and we had pretty much decided, but I'm now really worried that it looks funny? The v and y together? Also, does it remind you of an IV? Confused

Ivy is gorgeous and I'm so disappointed our surname has a V in it so we can't use it Sad congratulations

peace I'm so sad that my surname begins with an S, we are double barrelling, but I wanted Scarlett but I can't stand alliteration Sad

Ivy is a lovely name and i've never made the connection between ivy and I.V.

iamEarthymama · 17/04/2017 08:55

Oh please do name her Ivy, I think it's lovely.
I know a 4 year old Ivy and a 3 year old Iris, i find both girls and their names really beautiful.
