Conor! I'm in Ireland though, where its a traditional name and doesn't have the rep it seems to have in the UK.

There's also Conn as an alternative, which I think is very cool but uncommon.

Love Conor but it seemed to be really common for a while, so that's why I wouldn't go for it.

Conor! (biased - it's DS's name Grin).

Definitely one "n" not two.

There are very few Conors round here - only one other we know of.

Although in a (SE) English accent it will be pronounced without a strong "r" at the end. If you live in England and that would annoy you go with Aidan!

Love Conor. NOT Connor! I know lots of boys/men named Conor and they are all lovely and respectable.

I do like Aidan too but prefer Conor.

Con(n)or is a nice name - prefer two n's - but it is a naughty boy name. Ask any teacher I've ever met.

I would go for Aidan.

I like Conor but really don't like how it sounds when said with an English accent. Irrational I know.

If I absolutely had to choose, I'd pick Conor.

Aidan is more common outside of Ireland than Conor/Connor.
I've actually come across far more English Conor/Connors than Aidans.

My ten month old DS is Conor and I absolutely love the name! Disappointed to see such little love for it :-(
My husband is Irish although we live in England and we wanted a name that leaned towards Irish but was easy to spell.
