Left wing boy baby name ideas?!

Hi- does anyone have any left wing historical/political boys name ideas? I'm having a boy in August and after some ideas!
My DH is French so ideally the name needs to work in French too...

Our surname is Marx so... I just came for ideas really. My names were given to me from the Bible from my Christian parents- I'm an atheist myself but don't mind that they wanted me to have those at birth. Thanks for all the ideas!

I agree with Keir - it really springs to mind and I think I'd assume a left wing family with that name but would it work in French?

I don't see why a name that honours your beliefs is any worse than when people ask for 'strong sounding' or 'classic' or 'unusual' names, or names that can be shortened to FiFi or whatever!
