Left wing boy baby name ideas?!

Hi- does anyone have any left wing historical/political boys name ideas? I'm having a boy in August and after some ideas!
My DH is French so ideally the name needs to work in French too...

Keir. It's my favourite boys name.
So much so that we named ds1 Keir. Not because of political beliefs, we just liked the name, although if we were Tory voters we probably wouldn't have gone for it. However, as soon as he turned 18 he joined the LibDems . Serves us right. Grin

How obviously left-wing do you want it to be? Keir is an obvious reference to Keir Hardie, whereas James (the name of 3 of the Todpuddle Martyrs) is less obvious.

surname is Marx and you're still looking for something more left wing, really Hmm

If you pick Keir as suggested he would be K Marx, to do that you'd have to have pretty strong beliefs.

I like the red theme so would like to suggest "Adam" meaning son of the red earth. A bit less obvious when combined with Marx as a surname.
