Middle name for Alice?

troodiedoo · 13/04/2017 20:10

Surname is quite blunt and masculine sounding, beginning with p.

Possible contenders are:

Gwendoline (family name)
Maria
Ruby
Emerald (dd1 has jade so thought it would be cool to continue the gemstone theme)
Ciara
Cara
Naomi

Further suggestions welcome :)

Thanks all for the suggestions, so many lovely names :). A few that have mentioned were on the shortlist but not made the final cut. Purely because we have to be ruthless here.

Surname is one syllable.

I like Alice Gwendoline and Alice Emerald. How many syllables is your surname?

ZolaGood · 13/04/2017 20:35

Alice Mary ...classically simple :)
Jane
Diane

I have an Alice Daisy too

Alice Naomi works very well. Or:

Lucia
Amanda (I know, quite retro these days, but such a pretty meaning)
Clara (close to two of your suggestions, though I do like Ciara in particular with Alice)
Miranda
I'm not generally a fan of the name Ruby but it does sound quite good with Alice tbh...

Alice Maria or Alice Naomi, from your list. I don't think your other names go well with Alice, sorry.

I also like Alice Louisa, Alice Josephine and Alice Noelle.
