How many do you know? It seems really popular online. Also do you like it?

It is popular, in stat terms. It is also nice.

okilydokily · 10/04/2017 22:16

I know one (age 4). Not that keen on it because of similarity in sound to violent.

DramaAlpaca · 10/04/2017 22:15

I don't know any and I love it.

Whitelisbon · 10/04/2017 22:13

I love it, can't use it with our surname otherwise I'd have had a Violet.

Seahawk80 · 10/04/2017 22:06

I love it and it's still on our list for a girl but what's putting me off is that it seems to be getting really popular. My sister had two friends call their babies Violet last month. DH has a very common name and can't see why that is a problem!

carmelsundae · 10/04/2017 22:02

I love it, it was my first choice but wasn't allowed it. I only know one who is a few weeks old!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 10/04/2017 16:15

I had an Auntie Violet. I've heard a few out and about. Its s very pretty name, but. Not my cup of tea. Still my cup of tea is neither here nor there

heron98 · 10/04/2017 14:36

I am not keen.

ummlilia · 10/04/2017 14:08

Work colleague's grandchild is Violet. I hear it so often I have gone right off it.

DorotheaHomeAlone · 10/04/2017 13:57

Really can't bear it. Just horrible.

BadToTheBone · 10/04/2017 13:48

I know one, she's 5.

MrsNuckyThompson · 10/04/2017 13:44

Don't know any first hand. A friend has a niece aged 4 called Violet.

I like it!

SerenaVDW · 10/04/2017 13:40

I don't know any but I love it, was on the shortlist for DD.

user1234566 · 10/04/2017 01:49

I only know of 1 and have seen it used as a middle name also. I quite like the name

darkparadise · 10/04/2017 01:36

I have one! 14 months

porterwine · 10/04/2017 00:30

I know one 4 year old and she's such a sweetie. I'm not really one for floral or ultra "girly" names but I love it. I also love Juliet.

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 09/04/2017 17:19

I like it. Haven't met one at any of the different baby groups I go to with DD.

Sophronia · 09/04/2017 15:52

I don't know any, but it is getting more popular. I'm not keen tbh.

ColourfulOrangex · 09/04/2017 12:24

I know one, she is 4

Mrsknackered · 09/04/2017 11:56

Oh and I had a great aunt Vi.

Mrsknackered · 09/04/2017 11:55

I know a 21 year old, a an 18 year old and a 6 year old.
I'd still use it Smile

FreeNiki · 09/04/2017 10:57

I know 2 babies of 1 year old called Violet.

I don't like it as it sounds exactly like Violent.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/04/2017 09:08

Pretty name.

Hellofromme · 09/04/2017 08:58

I've got an auntie Vi. Well dead and gone now. Would probably be in her 90s now.

Really dislike it and one of the worst of the granny chic names.

RockyBird · 09/04/2017 08:52

Vi for short.
