laurz I suspect it's a bit too much in common usage for most mumsnetters who like something a bit more original but definitely not yoonique!

I like both. I already have a step son named Dylan and would use Caleb if I had another child.

I love both too, either or :) Cal is a nice shortening of Caleb, Dylan's get Dyl which is maybe not as much of a standalone name as Cal.

We chose it before it was hip to fit in with our old testament biblical names.
It is a good strong boys name but a bit different.

Caleb, I really like this name, very modern and funky, perfect for a teenager/man.I don't like it so much for a newborn baby, but you have got to think of the end product !!.. I was in HOlliste with my teen when a young handsome man walked into the changing rooms followed by his stunning Girlfriend shouting Caleb, I've been hooked ever since. I do like Dylan though, but it's very popular here.
