Ezra for a girl?

Hey everyone, i was wondering is the name Ezra acceptable for a girl? I personally think the a ending makes it sound feminine. I know its not common for a girl but more boy names are being used for girls right? I would hate to not be able to use it :/ need some feedback / opinions?

It is a bit like a mash up of Esme and Laura perhaps. I can see it as a name for a girl, but there are many other great names so I wouldn't rush to choose it.

It's funny how boys' names easily transfer to girls and become unisex but not quite so much the opposite way.

For me it's no different to calling a girl Matthew or Mark. But hey, it's your choice.

Ezra - is boys name.
Esra - is the female version, I know a gorgeous Esra!
