I've only ever met one. Is it awful?

I know a 4 year old Julia who is beautiful

TheCakes · 06/04/2017 19:54

I like it. The Julia I know is lovely, as is the Juliet.

WhiteHairReally · 06/04/2017 19:53

One in her 59s, one in her 20s. I think it is a very elegant 'spare' name. I think if it in the Frances, Celia, Grace and Helena zone.

Panicmode1 · 06/04/2017 19:52

I was at school with one and I work with one - both over 40!

Nospringflower · 06/04/2017 19:52

One 13 yo and one in 40s. Im in my 50s and was at school with a few and know a few Julies.

reup · 06/04/2017 19:48

I know one English Julia who is 12. But I supply teach in primary schools in London and every class has one as it pretty popular with Polish parents - sometimes pronounced Yulia.

LonginesPrime · 06/04/2017 19:47

I know a lovely Julia in her late 20s. She's awesome.

Auntpodder · 06/04/2017 19:46

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 06/04/2017 19:43

Yes three, all in the 45/55 age group.

twostepsister · 06/04/2017 19:04

Yes my beautiful best friend aged 52

Madwomans · 06/04/2017 19:04

Yes, she's an incredibly beautiful, pre-Raphaelite-looking spiky American eight year old. I also know a ten-year-old female Julian in England.

CoffeeAndOranges · 06/04/2017 19:03

My Aunt is a Julia. She's 62, very intelligent and a very no nonsense type but a generally lovely lady.

I really like the name, much better than Julie imo (mainly because I knew a Julie who was a bitch to me)

Rockaby · 06/04/2017 18:59

I only know one, who is in her mid thirties.

I like it. Not keen on Jules as a nn though which might put me off a bit.

tarheelbaby · 06/04/2017 18:54

yes, several. In our small (70 families?) village school there are 2 mums and I have know a pupil's parent called this too.

A wonderful colleague and godmother to one of my DDs is named Juliet.

In my family there is a 7 generation tradition of using this name and DD is one of them.
