Struggling to agree on a girl's name

DH and I can only agree on two names - Alexa and Charlotte. We won't be using either as Amazon Echo have ruined Alexa for us and we feel Charlotte is too ubiquitous.

May I have your opinions on these names, please?

Abigail
Annabel
Francesca*
Daphne*
Susanna

Of all of these, the only one we can sort of agree on is Susanna, and I like it but don't love it. We'd both like a classic name, but DH really seems to like Elizabeth, Catherine, etc and we have too many friends with these names and it feels a bit weird.

Also, we love Sophie and Imogen but have friends with children who have these names.

indicates I love the name but DH hates it.

Jemima - Dislike. Racist connotations in the US, but for me it's always going to be the puddle duck.

Alexia - Dislike. Prefer Alexa or Alessia.

Abigail - Lovely.

Annabel - I've only ever known overly posh, not particularly nice, horsey people named Annabel, so I'm not a fan.

Francesca* - Dislike. Fran/Franny is an awful nickname too.

Daphne* - Don't mind it. It was on my longer list of names, but a lot of people (from reading other threads) say it reminds them of a daft woman.

Susanna - Dislike. Outdated.

I do think Charlotte is extremely popular, but it's the #1 girl name where I live, so, statistically, it is more popular than any other girl name at the moment. That won't necessarily be the case where you live, of course.

What about Carlotta for a more Italian variation on Charlotte?
Elspeth or Elisabeta for a variation on Elizabeth?

I'd go for Sophie, Imogen or Charlotte if I were you. If you both love them, it isn't really a problem if friends have the same name.

There may be some truth in that. DH initially hated the name we finally used for DC3.

If you like Susannah and Jemima, have you thought of Keziah, Tabitha, Hannah and Esther (all also Biblical)?
Keziah was Jemima's sister. The third one was called Kerenhappuch, which for some odd reason isn't terribly popular...

I agree with Bertrand. I don't think Charlotte is that popular at all. I haven't heard of a baby Charlotte for years (except the royal).

Was also going to suggest Beatrice but it's already been suggested!

Maybe Harriet, Xanthe or Saskia?

Diamonds, both lovely. Lucia was my grandmother's name. I like Francesca more as it's the feminine form of my grandfather's name and I love the idea of Frankie, which works brilliantly with our surname too.

Secretly hoping that once DH witnesses the birth, he'll be so traumatised that he will let me name her whatever l like!
