What are your opinions? I don't like any longer names though, so this would go on BC (I've known 2 in my lifetime and both of their names were Connie on BC).

My aunt was Connie, her birth cert was Constance but non of her sibling could pronounce it :)
She was brilliant.

blondehair · 02/04/2017 22:03

I once worked with a girl called Connie. Although I thought she was a boy named Ronnie (very manly) for months. I think this put me off any names that sounded similar🙈😂.

reuset · 02/04/2017 21:45

Fine. Like it.

smilingsarahb · 02/04/2017 21:11

I think it is lovely and don't see the need for a long name on the birth certificate. I don't really like Constance to be honest so would probably go for a condolisa (or one of the other spellings - condoleeza) but personally don't see the need for an official name.

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 02/04/2017 20:54

Love the name Connie - was on my list for DD

akorda · 02/04/2017 20:12

Love Connie. Do you remember "Curious Connie" in The Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton?

GreedyDuck · 29/03/2017 12:48

Love it. DD1 was going to be Constance (nn Connie) but we changed our minds once we saw her. It's back on the list for no.2.

WellErrr · 29/03/2017 12:42

Love it

GuinessPunch · 29/03/2017 12:41

Awful to me.

marmitecheesetoast · 29/03/2017 12:39

Love it, great name!

ClaryBeanHorshAndMe · 29/03/2017 08:23

I know a Connie, she's lovely.

Her name however is boring and unimaginative in my personal opinion.

I really like Marnie. And Charlie, Holly, Peggy, Sadie, Billie, Carrie, Effie, Ellie, Cissie etc. Idk, I think there are many similar names I personally prefer (but maybe that's just me being weird).

Redpramlady · 29/03/2017 08:06

I know a Connie and she is a gorgeous, feisty and funny little girl so I love the name!
My DS is Conor which is not too dissimilar

MrsEricBana · 28/03/2017 22:54

I LOVE it too.

DramaAlpaca · 28/03/2017 22:54

I like it, but I love Constance more so for me that would have to go on the BC.

frogsgoladidahdidah · 28/03/2017 22:52

I love it!

ConConstance · 28/03/2017 22:50

I'm a Connie 😌

buttercup54321 · 28/03/2017 22:32

Don't like it at all. Reminds me of conker.

Pencilvester · 28/03/2017 10:13

The least glamorous name imaginable, IMO.

Of course, glamour may not necessarily be what you look for in a name Grin

BasicBetty · 28/03/2017 09:59

Love it. Was on my list for DD, but DH not keen Angry

stickygotstuck · 28/03/2017 09:41

Connie is nice. So is Constance.
