I know a Wilhelmina known as Willow. My favourite. Lovely choices all three of them.

HemlockStarglimmer · 01/04/2017 15:11

Dorothea Katharine. 😁

Wait4nothing · 01/04/2017 15:04

Dorothea - but considering she will probably have to spell it out - I'd avoid Catherine (due to the many popular spellings)

ClaryBeanHorshAndMe · 01/04/2017 14:56

Dorothea!

but Wilhelmina is lovely as well.

I really dislike Maude, sorry.

April229 · 30/03/2017 23:34

Dorothea violet?

YolandiFuckinVisser · 30/03/2017 22:45

I love Maud. I won't be having any more children so my dog got the honour of holding this name. I don't see it as a dog's name though...

BrutusMcDogface · 30/03/2017 22:42

can't believe so many people like the name Maud. It sounds like a sad groaning noise to me.

Grin at squoosh!

Theodora is nice too.

BrutusMcDogface · 30/03/2017 22:40

Dorothea really doesn't go with Catherine. Like Thea though. Can't think of Dora without saying in my head "the explorer".

MikeUniformMike · 30/03/2017 22:35

Dora. I also like Dot.

Shockers · 30/03/2017 22:33

I don't understand why someone would come onto a thread asking for a vote on one of three chosen names to say, "None of the above."

Why bother?

ThereIsIron · 29/03/2017 12:44

None of the above

marmitecheesetoast · 29/03/2017 12:38

I love the name Maude, but not keen on Violet.
I like Dorothea Catherine too

TrueBlueYorkshire · 29/03/2017 10:21

Dorothea Catherine - at least it is easy to spell over the phone: Delta, Oscar, Romeo, Oscar, Tango, Hotel, Echo, Alpha, new word, Charlie, Alpha, Tango, Hotel, Echo, Romeo, India, November, Echo.

Rockaby · 29/03/2017 10:13

Another vote for Dorothea. So many nice nn options. Maude is slightly nicer I think and I like the Maude Gonne / Yeats connection, but it has fewer options. It depends how much you care about nn potential Smile!

daisypond · 29/03/2017 10:05

Dorothea - nn Thea.

MumOfTwoMasterOfNone · 29/03/2017 09:47

They aren't my cup of tea OP so I can't say I like any over another. Please don't be offended, you probably wouldn't like my name choices as I can tell many don't, but it doesn't bother me as I don't like theirs either Grin

amymel2016 · 29/03/2017 09:24

Maude Violet, beautiful!

regularbutpanickingabit · 29/03/2017 09:21

Can't you have Dorothea Maud? Sounds cool!

OwlDoll · 29/03/2017 09:18

Maude definitely (even though it was the name of my Dh's first love)

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/03/2017 09:15

FRUMS, choose Maude Violet, it's beautiful, strong and classy. 😄

ShuttyTown · 29/03/2017 08:09

All hideous

Redpramlady · 29/03/2017 08:04

Dorothea Catherine for me!

17caterpillars1mouse · 29/03/2017 08:02

Dorothea Catherine is beautiful

Dipsydora · 29/03/2017 07:53

Dorothea 100% please not Maude it is ugly in the way I knew it was ugly as a child and my opinions really haven't changed on it. So close to mold not what a little girl wants.

Mrsknackered · 29/03/2017 07:47

Wilhelmina
Because I absolutely love Willa
