I am pregnant with my second child and know it is going to be a girl. I already used my all-time favourite girl's name on DD1, though! (She's Maya Grace).
I don't really have my heart set on anything, but everything I do like, DP dislikes. And I don't really like anything he suggests, either. The first name needs to:
- go well with a last name that starts with a vowel
- be ok in Hebrew
- be ok in English (obviously! but worth stating because there are some lovely Hebrew names that I just don't think translate well. And I'm a non-Hebrew-speaker so nothing I can't pronounce!)
- it would be fantastic if it was also Sanskrit in origin, but I realise this is unlikely along with other constraints
- a little bit bohemian or unusual is good
I quite like Joy as a middle name, but if we end up choosing a non-Hebrew name for the first name then would be happy with a Hebrew middle name.
