Which spelling do you like?
Rebecca is more common whereas Rebekah is the Hebrew biblical way

Rebecca...can't stand when people unnecessarily put k's in names, just looks common.

Sophronia · 18/03/2017 21:59

Rebecca

PetalMettle · 18/03/2017 21:56

My niece is a kah but that's because her parents are religious. I'd go for the common spelling

GrouchyKiwi · 18/03/2017 21:37

I prefer my spiky spelling but it is a pain to always have to spell out my name.

Pootles2010 · 18/03/2017 21:35

I'm the 'common' version - still have to spell it every time.

HardcoreLadyType · 18/03/2017 21:33

I prefer Rebekah, but I think most people would assume the Rebecca spelling, so that might make it a better choice.

(I have an ordinary name with an unusual spelling, and it's a PITA.)

Itsmeitscathy · 18/03/2017 21:28

As someone with a name that can be spelled multiple ways I vote Rebecca or they'll spend their life spelling it for people

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 18/03/2017 21:25

Rebecca. I want to like Rebekah but for some reason it looks spiky.

user1489577919 · 18/03/2017 21:24

Rebekah if you're religious, Rebecca if you're not

MaisyPops · 18/03/2017 21:24

Rebecca personally.

The only rebekah I know has eastern european parents.

Unless there's a herritage link, I'd always go for the common one. But that's just personal preference.
