This isn't for a baby, but for a curiosity.

For me:

Boy - Emrys

Girl - Bronwyn

Gotta love a Blodwen Smile

Branleuse · 18/03/2017 19:26

Blodwen. You just don't hear of enough blodwens

Cathays · 18/03/2017 19:07

For a girl it should be Bronwen, not Bronwyn.

I like Wyn or Gwyn for a boy

user1489577919 · 18/03/2017 19:04

SillyBub - that's good! (better than being on one of those 'chavvyest names that ever chavd?' threads). I think just about every Welsh man I've met has been called Evan

OP posts:
officerhinrika · 18/03/2017 18:59

Olwen , Rhian or Eluned. Teifion Iolo or Emyr

SillyBub · 18/03/2017 18:58

My DCs names are both mentioned here Grin

Ieuan and Evan were the names that got away.

welshweasel · 18/03/2017 18:55

We have a Taliesin. Also loved Idris, Iolo and Osian. A girl would have been Aneira or Arianwen.

IrnBruTortie - Emrys autocorrects to Enemy's for me, I almost posted it like that too

OP posts:
IrnBruTortie · 18/03/2017 18:38

Idris, and Cerys.
Idris keeps wanting to autocorrect to Mavis though, which I like rather less. Especially for a boy ;)

llangennith · 18/03/2017 18:38

Angharad

user1459464195 · 18/03/2017 18:36

Owain and Elin

MissTakesOurMaid - if only Iago didn't have such negative connotations

Pleasemrstweedie - but Rhys is so nice! What did you go with in the end?

OP posts:
MissTakesOurMaid · 18/03/2017 18:26

Iago for a boy
Mabli for a girl

Especially Mabli - means Mabel.

ExplodedCloud · 18/03/2017 18:26

Geraint and Rhiannon

Pleasemrstweedie · 18/03/2017 18:24

Rhys and Heulwen.

DH vetoed both.

ILoveDolly · 18/03/2017 18:21

NotQuiteWithItAtAll · 18/03/2017 18:21
