Rasmus, Severin, Annelie and ???

My husband is half Norwegian/half Danish, I am Swedish. Just 3 weeks ago we moved to England and will be here for at least 2 years (husbands work)

I am 32 weeks pregnant, sex unknown.

We have 3 children- Rasmus is 9, Severin is 7 and Annelie is 4.

We need names that are good in Swedish, Norwegian and Danish and now English. Which of these sound good to the English ear?

Ooh I love Konrad or Lars. Ester or Ingrid are my favourites of the girl options.

I like Viggo best from the boys list. I'd avoid Peer just because it's a word not a name here and Knut because it's too easily mistaken for Kunt (although it does remind me of that little polar bear which makes me kind of love it).

From the girls list I like Thora and Inga. I'd avoid Brita because of the water filter and Hella because it's a slang word meaning 'very' or 'much' as in 'Thora is hella better than Brita as a name for a baby girl' or 'Inga is a hella good name for your baby'.

Gudren reminds me of 'Women In Love'. Nice name and I always wanted Ursula if I ever had another girl.

Konrad and Magda would probably be the most recognisable to the English ear. Ones which i would probably advise against (but others might disagree):
Knut (like a swear word), Brita (could make people think of water filters of this name), Helga (might sound a bit ungainly with an English accent) and Gudrun and Gunda might not sound great here.

Love the others. Enjoy your time in the UK :)

Fab names!
I'd avoid Ester because people will assume the English spelling of Esther but I'll contradict myself and say that love the spelling of Niklas. Knut is too close to the word cunt.

I love Lars, Niklas, Konrad for boys and Inga, Brita and Magda for girls. I think that once the current fashion for French names end, we'll be seeing more Scandinavian names. So many names 😍
