Love the name Robin! I wanted to use it for our second boy but it sounded silly with our surname. I'd definitely choose Robin over Louis every time :-)

Robin is great. I know two and they both go by Rob though, which I don't like.

Robin! I know a grown up Robin and have always thought it a lovely name on him. It seems a relatively normal name to me, don't think it necessitates being particularly 'brave' Smile

Louis will be mispronounced both Lou-is and Lou-ee (and the latter sounds like Loo and wee Blush)

Robert on BC as Robin sounds childish - think Winnie The Pooh.
Louis too similar to Louise. Lewis?

Would you pronounce Louis as Lewis or Lou-ee? I quite like Lewis but prefer Robin to Lou-ee.

Robin is a lovely name, can be abbreviated to Rob when older. Personally I don't like Louis at all I'm afraid.

Louis is fine but I much prefer Robin - lovely name and fairly 'normal' without being overused - not sure why you'd need to be brave to use it?
