I have a Louis (to be pronounced Louie) but everyone calls him Lewis. It drives me mad because I hate the name.

I wasn't overly keen on the name Louis anyway but I regret giving in to my partners choice but we couldn't agree on anything.

I like Lewis/Louis best followed by Aidan, Dylan and Elliot.
Noah/Reuben- suddenly trendy 2 years ago and just everywhere now, so have become a bit sickly. William too boring, too middle of the road.

Dylan - Very cool
Elliot - Weak
Lewis - Don't like
Louis - It's not bad
Noah - Nice but super popular and "of the moment"
Reuben - Very cool
William (but known as Billy) - William is okay, Billy is horrible

So my faves would be Dylan and Reuben.

Similar to my shortlist for ds1. We ended up with Oliver! (Friend used Dylan just before me). There's a few Billys in school, so I think it depends where you are.

I like Lewis.

We would definitely go for the NN Billy, as William would be our least favourite, but Billy is very much equal to the others, if that makes sense? Still like William though!

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I love Reuben best, purely because i think Roo is so cute as a nickname.

Don't like Elliot and Reuben , prefer Louis to Lewis and like William but not Billy . I would spell Louis as you did not Louie . Dylan and Noah are lovely but very popular .
