Much needed to cheer me up on a wet Monday night Grin

There was an Oakley on the postnatal ward when Ds was born, raised a giggle as that silly cbeebies program was on then. When we found out his sister was Willow and brother was Ash, well a few weak bladders went. Personally i think Oakley is a ridiculous name for a human anyway, thats just in my head, but coupled with another tree name it becomes hilarious. Stop it. Behave. You're naming a human.

badabeedabom · 06/03/2017 20:53

I've got it!!!

Spruce Sassafras

WaitrosePigeon · 06/03/2017 20:52

Lovely name suggestions for a prospective housing estate in Milton Keynes.

Grin
Patriciathestripper1 · 06/03/2017 20:51

Oakley - it's a really cool name!

badabeedabom · 06/03/2017 20:50

tinfoil No, he would get called Sick for short. Too much potential for teasing at school.

Perhaps Maple? Or Box?

RedSauce · 06/03/2017 20:50

Maybe the baby was conceived in a forest or a small woods!

I'm a bit stumped tbh. Ashley Oak is the one I wood pick, but it's not a great set of options. Perhaps consider branching out a little. No need to stick to such a narrow theme. It could leave him open to bullying when the kids at school twig. I personally wouldn't want to lumber my child with that.

Well, I think it's time for me to log off.

ArriettyClock1 · 06/03/2017 20:49

They're all ludicrous.

empirerecordsrocked · 06/03/2017 20:49

No, none of them.

msgrinch · 06/03/2017 20:48

Are you naming your shed? May i suggest Birchley Mc Leaferson

TinfoilHattie · 06/03/2017 20:47

What about Sycamore Chestnut?

Kazzawazza69 · 06/03/2017 20:46

I like Oakley but dont like any of the combos- too many tree names!

badabeedabom · 06/03/2017 20:45

Chip Ashley
Oakley Teak

I was going to suggest Mahogany but I think that's more of a girl's name.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 06/03/2017 20:43

danTDM · 06/03/2017 19:45

Is this serious? Probably not.

Ridiculous names.

Bluntness100 · 06/03/2017 19:42

You can't use Oakley, it's a huge sunglasses brand, it's like calling your kid ray ban. 😱😱😱

harderandharder2breathe · 06/03/2017 19:40

Sounds like a woodland not a human .

TheHuntingOfTheSarky · 06/03/2017 19:10

Honestly none of them, I think they're all absolutely awful. Sorry, but you did ask.

GwenCooper81 · 06/03/2017 19:09

Are you having a baby or a sapling?
Oakely just by itself.

GimbleInTheWabe · 06/03/2017 19:09

Lovely name suggestions for a prospective housing estate in Milton Keynes.

5OBalesofHay · 06/03/2017 19:08

Why would you name a child after a horsebox?

Playdoughinthecarpet · 06/03/2017 19:08

Cute, for a Sylvanian Family animal.

Whatslovegottodo · 06/03/2017 19:06

Why do you want two tree names? I like Ash and Oakley individually but 2 is too much for me.
