Anya or Rose? Opinions please

Almost Shock well the name is pretty distinctive so I did realise this was possible. Didn't expect it would actually happen though Shock

If she was born on the 24th you've just popped up in my facebook newsfeed because someone i know commented on a photo of a newborn announcement photo of a baby they just called Anya Rose.... if it is you or not that's creeped me out either way.

Much prefer Anya Rose to Rose Anya. However, I also agree with a previous poster and think Roseanna is a pretty name.

I prefer Rose as a first name, but think if you're using both then Anya Rose flows much better than Rose Anya.

My friends little girl is called Anya and I've always loved it! Anya Rose is beautiful ❤️

Also like Rose as a first name, but not sure Anya works after it.

What about mixing the two - Rosanya

I prefer Rose, but Anya Rose sounds a lot better as a combination.

I prefer Anna to Anya.

I don't know any young girls called Rose just lots with Rose as a middle name so I think that Rose Anya would actually be unusual & very nice.

Anya is nice, personally hate the name Rose. It's very "old lady" sounding to me, but i also dislike flowers as names, so no Lily, Daisy etc either.

Rose Anya is beautiful. You're not going to be calling the 2 names out together! I have 2 DC and only close friends and family know their middle names. Go with the first name that you love, not whether it "flows"!

Rose is overused as a middle name, but lovely and classic as a first name. I like Rose Anya.

Rose anya sounds a bit like lasagne if you say it quickly. It doesn't flow like anya Rose

Both beautiful. I disagree that Rose is overused. Yes, as a middle name, but I have met very few children with Rose as a first name.

Both lovely- I know a fair number of both (this doesn't bother me my children have popular names) - prefer Anya Rose to the other way round.

Too much Rose now. Every girl round here has either rose or may/mae/mai as a middle name too.
