Way too similar for me, not just in sound but visually as well.

chatnanny · 24/02/2017 23:00

Although I know Ciaran is the classic spelling could you spell it Kieran so they at least have different initials?

Cheesecake53 · 24/02/2017 22:29

I also know someone who has a Caden and a Ciaran. If you like it, then definitely go for it!!

omnishamblesssssssssssssss · 24/02/2017 22:18

Leon could go. Or Owen or Ethan

omnishamblesssssssssssssss · 24/02/2017 22:15

Cadan and Liam or Declan

Littlefish · 24/02/2017 22:13

Too similar.

omnishamblesssssssssssssss · 24/02/2017 22:12

Very similar

goonnoog · 24/02/2017 22:10

That's rude Hmm I already have a Caden. We are considering Ciaran...

Caden is a name inspired by my great-grandmother Cadence.

Dare I say it, any consonant + Aidan doesn't sound good.
Just stick with Aidan as Ciaran is a classic gaelic name and if you do Zaydan or Vadan with something as solid sounding as Ciaran it just sounds a mixture of styles

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 24/02/2017 22:01

Too similar.

EightiethElement · 24/02/2017 21:58

I don't like that combo. The sounds are too similar.

Aidan and Ciaran works though

aquamarina100 · 24/02/2017 21:57

Too similar.

Gallavich · 24/02/2017 21:56

Definitely too similar.

goonnoog · 24/02/2017 18:34

Ah, that's a shame!

I know someone who has a Caden and a Ciaran. It's never occurred to me that they're too similar tbh.

KoalaDownUnder · 24/02/2017 18:19

I think they're too similar.

MrsCaecilius · 24/02/2017 18:18

Too similar to my ear.
