Having a girl, here's the shortlist (or maybe longlist):

Harriet
Aria
Olivia
Penelope
Gracie
Georgia
Amber

Struggling to narrow down. Thank you.

Harriet - not keen
Aria - quite like
Olivia - too popular
Penelope - really like it
Gracie - popular
Georgia - ok
Amber - dislike

thamesk8 · 28/02/2017 09:39

My order of preference

Aria
Amber
Penelope
Gracie
Harriet
Georgia
Olivia

PennyPickle · 27/02/2017 00:35

I can't believe so many people like Penelope. It would be the last on my list! The only names I like on that list are Harriet (prefer Hattie) and Gracie (prefer Grace).

I would go with Harriet Grace

indigo13 · 26/02/2017 10:58

Penelope definitely. Georgia is nice but there are lots of Georges about now

MyMrKnightley · 26/02/2017 09:15

Harriet - great
Aria - not sure
Olivia - good
Penelope - depends if you like penny because it'll get shortened
Gracie - very popular as a middle name here, but don't think it suits a grown woman how about grace with nn gracie
Georgia - don't like
Amber - don't like

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 26/02/2017 08:52

Harriet Grace

Flybyday · 25/02/2017 23:53

Penelope for me

greeeen · 24/02/2017 15:38

I like Penelope the best.

Batteriesallgone · 24/02/2017 15:06
  1. Harriet
  2. Aria
  3. Olivia
  4. Penelope
  5. Gracie
  6. Georgia
  7. Amber

Don't like 5, 6 or 7 tbh.

Tweetme · 24/02/2017 15:05

I like them all. Not so keen on Aria as I know a baby one and I used to keep forgetting her name and now apparently I always say it wrong according to my dc.

Strawberryjam7 · 24/02/2017 15:02

Looks like Penelope, Georgia and Harriet are the favourites. I've spoken to DH and we're happy to whittle it down to that. Now to decide which one Confused we would like one middle name so maybe we could use two of the three names here?

Maybe Harriet Georgia or Georgia Penelope?

My favourite is Harriet. Followed by Amber and Penelope in that order

I don't like any of the others especially Aria.

crapfatbanana · 24/02/2017 09:44

Gracie - love
Penelope - love
Harriet - like very much

The rest I'm not fussed about.

Sapphireshadow · 24/02/2017 07:25

Love Amber. Also like Aria and Harriet. Prefer Grace to Gracie, Gracie seems too much like a nn.

Iwasjustabouttosaythat · 24/02/2017 05:41

Harriet.

Aria is too popular.

fuckoffdailysnail · 24/02/2017 04:58

I've got a Penelope, get complimented on it all the time

SuperBeagle · 24/02/2017 04:23

In order of preference:

  1. Georgia
  2. Penelope
  3. Amber
  4. Olivia - Lovely name, but done to death. Olive is lovely and a bit less popular/more quirky.
  5. Gracie - If this was Grace, it'd be my second choice. But Gracie is too nicknamey for my liking.
  6. Aria - Dislike. Very trendy, and will remind everyone of either Pretty Little Liars or Game of Thrones. Will date terribly.
  7. Harriet - Love Hattie, hate Harriet.
ScarlettFreestone · 24/02/2017 03:04

Depends on your surname really but just on what you have posted: Georgia.

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 24/02/2017 02:56

I love Harriet

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 24/02/2017 02:56

I love Harriet

Sophronia · 24/02/2017 00:02

Harriet!

Babymamamama · 23/02/2017 23:44

Love love love Georgia.

joannegrady90 · 23/02/2017 23:38

They're all nice names but to be picky:

Grace/Gracie - a little too common now and doesn't sound right on a teenager if that makes sense.

Aria and Olivia - Same as above there will probably be lots at school etc.

Georgia is probably my fave.

The rest are OK but a bit bland and trying to be different.

HearTheThunderRoar · 23/02/2017 23:35

Gracie definitely it's my 17yo dd's name

I also love Harriet.

Joinourclub · 23/02/2017 23:28

Grace would be my favourite rather than Gracie. Otherwise Hariet.
