GIRLS names I'm considering

What do you think about these names?
Be as stark/direct as you like: I'll know it's the one if the harsher comments don't bother me.

Alternatives welcome.
Prefer names that don't end in -a

The shortlist as it stands:

Kate
Natalia
Juliet
Genevieve
Miriam

Thanks

Juliet and Miriam my favourites. Genevieve too posh for me! Kate nice but boring. Prefer Naomi to Natalia.

I like Juliet.
Genevieve is lovely. Never considered that before. It's pretty and elegant.

Sophronia · 18/02/2017 23:57

Miriam is my favourite. Genevieve is nice too.

At least they're real names. And a few of those are really pretty. So whichever you like best. Also having a list might help when baby actually comes. You might look at her and one of those names will just jump at you.
Have you considered the nicknames that would come with those names?

DaaMamma · 18/02/2017 23:53

Thanks, I like Katherine but my husband doesn't. I have a ROSA already and that's the main reason I think I don't want another -a name but that's not set in stone.

I love Natalia and I like Kate (would you consider Katherine?). I really don't like Juliet, I think the association with Romeo & Juliet is just too strong.

DaaMamma · 18/02/2017 23:47

Thanks all. I'm now thinking Naomi instead of Natalia but I don't think Naomi is the one.
But my forerunners today are Juliet and Miriam.

Love Genevieve

DramaAlpaca · 18/02/2017 23:39

I think you have a very nice list. I can't think of anything negative to say about any of them.

I think Miriam is my favourite.

JanuaryJuniper · 18/02/2017 23:38

Genevieve is the only one I like the rest wouldn't be my cup of tea!

pictish · 18/02/2017 23:38

Out of those, Juliet I think.

Delphine
Abigail
Amber
Nancy
Eleanor

educatingarti · 18/02/2017 23:35

I like Miriam best. It is more unusual, but still a classic.
