Well then it's not a different name Confused

NickyEds · 14/02/2017 18:26

How it pronounced? It's hard to say of it's a nice name without knowing how it sounds!

AssassinatedBeauty · 14/02/2017 18:26

Can you explain how you would pronounce Jae?

insancerre · 14/02/2017 18:25

Of to rhyme with sea
gee?

MrandMrsW2005 · 14/02/2017 18:25

No

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/02/2017 18:23

Is it pronounced Jie then?

AssassinatedBeauty · 14/02/2017 18:23

How are you pronouncing Jae? Is it to rhyme with "tie"?

Marcipex · 14/02/2017 18:23

Sam.

MrandMrsW2005 · 14/02/2017 18:22

Jay is different name. Not same as Jae.

Is jae short for Jaedon?

omnishamblesssssssssssssss · 14/02/2017 18:17

I know 2 jays and one Sam but I know a lot of children

OnHold · 14/02/2017 18:16

Go on ,OP . Go for Jae. Every other one of my Sons mates is called Sam

mum2be2boys · 14/02/2017 18:14

Sam

insancerre · 14/02/2017 18:14

Sam
I have one of my own
A strapping 6"2' 27 year old
I really don't like Jae

omnishamblesssssssssssssss · 14/02/2017 18:14

Jay seems bit faddy

OnHold · 14/02/2017 18:12

'A lifetime of eyerolls' if he lives in MN land.

omnishamblesssssssssssssss · 14/02/2017 18:11

Sam. It's timeless and makes me think of very nice boy

Cynara · 14/02/2017 18:08

Jay is ok...not massively keen on it, but it is a name. Jae isn't one I've seen before, I'm not a fan. Of the two, I'd go for Sam.

harderandharder2breathe · 14/02/2017 18:06

Sam for sure

Pootles2010 · 14/02/2017 18:03

Sam. Jae will spend his life saying 'J A E - no not Y, E!' And have lifetime of raised eyebrows and eye rolls.

Finola1step · 14/02/2017 18:02

Sam, but I am very biased because I have one and he is great. In a school of nearly 500, he was the only Sam when he joined. More have followed though.

Jay is ok, but not Jae.

AssassinatedBeauty · 14/02/2017 18:00

Sam is the better of those two. Jae is not very appealing to see written down and potentially confusing to say/spell. Presumably it's pronounced like Jay?

Loyly · 14/02/2017 18:00

Sam

MaisyPops · 14/02/2017 17:59

Sam.

Jae is an odd name.

Sophronia · 14/02/2017 17:58

For a boy?

Sam
