Hi,

Our surname starts with an 'n', and I like the sound of having the first and last names starting with the same letter. I like names that are easy to spell, but I don't like super common names.

For girls we currently like:
Nina
Nancy (but I'm worried it's too old)

For a boy I like Noah but DH is not keen on it.

Any other N ideas? What do you think of Nina and Nancy?

I also used to know a Naiara, though unsure of the spelling now. Think it was basque.

Love Nancy for a girl
If there are no names you like or can use or agree on with you dh that begin with an N for a boy then maybe you should give up the idea of illiteration and use another letter for the boys name.

I like Noah & Nina. I'm not keen on Nancy. It does sound very old fashioned to me.

I love Nicolette, but DH said Nicorette?!

Nicole is sweet.

Apparently Ned means something derogatory in Scotland. I've only heard that on mumsnet tho.

I really like Ned, don't know why I didn't think of it. My friend has a nedum if you wanted to have a longer name

I really like both Nina and Nancy! I think i prefer Nancy. I'm not so keen on Noah but only because it is sooooo popular!

Otherwise, I really like Norah. Or what about Niamh/Neve, Natasha, Natalie....?

And for a boy, Nicholas, Nate/Nathan, Neil?
