Having baby today- no name if a girl

I have two DDs already, one flower name, one Irish name. Both have family names.

Names I like but can't use: Iris, Clover, Joni, Orla, Roisin, Ann/Annie, Nancy, Alannah, Cecilia, Ivy, Violet, Olivia, Ella, Rose...

I would like an Irish name (have Irish surname) but at this point we don't even have a short list of names.

Please help! I am a desperate non-sleeping pregnant lady.

Don't discuss them with your DH now, wait til after the baby is born!

I had our 4th baby on Tuesday and DH agreed to a name he had vetoed loads of times as he just wanted to name her and we couldn't agree!

Best of luck today. For what it's worth I love the meaning of Aisling. Aoife is great though, try that after baby arrives!

Art Nainsì was a strong contender, but I don't think it sounds right with Jane.

Considering Jane for the first name now. Gah.

Is Nainsì too much of a pain to spell?

Our boy name is impossibly dull and I didn't pick it. If I were to choose the boy name, I would pick something like Niall/Oisin/Patrick.

thereal yes- or some such monstrosity. I'm being hyperbolic, but I'm about to give birth so can I get away with it?

I love all of these names- but none of them feel right.

Maybe I can pass the time looking through my old Irish fairy tale books looking for inspiration...

I like Aoife 😑 I can't help but feel DH is stupidly stubborn over it all. He liked Ava, Eva etc so is it so different?

We have the tricky problem of lots of Irish relatives on both sides and trying to not use names other people have used/name after relatives who are still alive etc.

Thanks for all the lovely suggestions. So many beautiful names- one of them has to be the right one!

Like when ds was born I wanted Eoghan, dh wanted Owen.

He's called neither.

Oh thank you so much- so many good suggestions!

So DH has vetoed all of the three I liked. Great.

Roisin- would love to use but already used in family.
Orla- see above.
Caoimhe cant agree with DH on this one. He likes it but wants to spell it the brutal English way. I can't bring myself to do that.
Bridie- family name but too close and can't be named after her.

Delphine is one of my favourite names, but DH refuses to consider it due to Peppa Bloody Pig.

More suggestions welcome!

Of the 3, I vote Aoife.

Also like Saoirse, Aisling, and Eilis.
