We're expecting a girl in May and have been looking at names. What are people's thoughts on Belle Breah Rose ( Breah is pronounced Bree ah) Smile

I love Bella but have a Jacob so dh said no Edwards or Bella's x

Marlboroandmalbec34 · 09/02/2017 10:13

I think its lovely x

Anyone called belle would definitely have been nicknamed bellend when I was at school. I'm old though so don't know if that would still be a problem nowadays.

reuset · 09/02/2017 10:07

Belle is ok. I don't much like Breah, it looks like weird spelling/variant of something 'proper'

Tory1982 · 08/02/2017 20:39

I like Bella but it reminds me too much of twighlight and yes that's a very good way of getting the name you want lol

Me too. We've got another now that I love, but it was touch and go for a while, I'm still prepared to play the "I've just pushed this human out of my tiny vagina now give me what I want" card that I've heard so much about though. I love Bella too.

SuperBeagle · 08/02/2017 20:20

I prefer Bella to Belle, but I think Belle Breah Rose is lovely. Smile Very pretty name.

Tory1982 · 08/02/2017 19:22

Awwwww fingers crossed you get a girl, I'm sure you can win him over with the name , Ive literally looked at every website and no other name sticks out

I'm so jealous! I am desperate to call ours (if it's a girl) Belle. My DP doesn't like it. At all. Waaahhhhhh!!!!

Tory1982 · 08/02/2017 18:47

Yeah I really like Belle and I don't know anyone else called that, I've looked at every possible name and I either don't like them or their quite common , I can't find any other names that are nicer than Belle

OP posts:
KlingybunFistelvase · 08/02/2017 18:38

If I'm totally honest, I think there are nicer names around than Belle, but then it's not my DD! I wouldn't think "oh how awful" if I met someone with that name or anything, so go for it if that's what you like Smile.

How about:

Belle Meredith
Belle Serena
Belle Robyn
Belle Seren
Belle Sienna
Belle Rachel
Belle Rebecca
Belle Amelia
Belle Rosanna
Belle Caitlin

Tory1982 · 08/02/2017 18:13

I'm about 70% sure on the name but just wondered what people's thoughts were or if anyone else had any suggestions for middle names for Belle

OP posts:
KlingybunFistelvase · 08/02/2017 17:54

What else are you looking at op? You said in your op that you are looking at names plural. Does that mean you have a list? If you are 100% sure of the name you have then it doesn't really matter what our opinions are Smile.

3catsandcounting · 08/02/2017 17:30

I know a Breanna; she gets shortened to Bre. Pretty name.

Tory1982 · 08/02/2017 17:01

Definatly want Belle as first name and Breah and Rose are middle names, I like Brianna but would be shortened to Anna, Breah is the English version of Brianna

OP posts:
KlingybunFistelvase · 08/02/2017 16:52

Is Rose your surname OP, or are you planning to have two middle names?

Are you totally set on Belle as a first name? I think Breanna Rose would be a lovely alternative if not.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 08/02/2017 16:17

Lovely name OP 😀
