Thoughts on these boys names?

These are the names that neither DH nor I hate, aren't the names of anyone we hate, or the names of close relatives or royalty (surname is a royal title):

Adam
Ryan
Liam
Sam (uel)

Any thoughts on these or similar (non Royal) suggestions please?

I love Samuel, that would be my pick. I also like Liam.

I have an irrational dislike of Adam and Ryan seems a tad dated to me.
