That's it really, which name do you prefer?
Really been struggling with boys names but I have always loved Pip, I know most people will not like it though.
So....
Pip Henry Rae
Or
Sidney Thomas Rae

Poor old Dickens Pip was mocked for his nick name. I'm glad you've decided against it Grin

VictoriaMcdade · 03/02/2017 18:54

Pip and Henry are two of the most annoying characters in the Archers Grin

I think Edward is lovely. If you fancy something a bit different have you thought about Edwin or Edmund?

MrsEricBana · 03/02/2017 18:37

Oh yes that's perfect!! (Teddy Rae Smile )

pilates · 03/02/2017 16:25

Very nice Smile

KlingybunFistelvase · 03/02/2017 15:35

Just to add that Edward Rae sounds lovely too.

IneedmoreLemonPledge · 03/02/2017 13:57

Sorry just read your update. Love it.

But I'm biased on both names Wink

IneedmoreLemonPledge · 03/02/2017 13:56

Sidney. He will be an old man longer than he'll be a boy. 😂

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 03/02/2017 13:47

Edward Flynn Rae is great!

RaRa25 · 03/02/2017 13:44

Edward Flynn Rae sounds wonderful, OP.

Conjures up the image of a dashing explorer!

And a lovely tribute to your DGGD.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 03/02/2017 10:55

Cracked it OP, lovely ! 😃

RaRa25 · 03/02/2017 09:00

What about
Edward Flynn Rae
Edward Flynn was my great grandad who died of diabetes in his 30's.
We have toyed with Edward before as we like Eddie.

Sidney Thomas is lovely

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 02/02/2017 21:58

Sidney Thomas Are sounds badass

crapfatbanana · 02/02/2017 21:52

I actually quite like both, but they don't go great with your surname.
These both work (for me):
Henry Rae
Thomas Rae

Maybe they aren't as cool or uncommon as Pip or Sidney though.
Other random suggestions:

Perran or Piran Rae
Otis Rae
Stefan Rae
Finlay Rae
Simon Rae

Raines100 · 02/02/2017 21:30

Rae is our surname.

Oh. Yeah, well I'd keep that one, then Blush

GreatScot8 · 02/02/2017 20:45

What about Stanley? It seems to line up well with the style of your two choices.

GreatScot8 · 02/02/2017 20:45

Sidney Thomas.

I love Sid.

Pip is odd for a man, IMO. I've only heard it for women (short for Philippa or Pippa). Pip Rae is too short too, as a full name.

Badgoushk · 02/02/2017 20:10

Sting?

ScarletSienna · 02/02/2017 19:57

Thomas Henry Rae is really nice, I agree!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 02/02/2017 19:17

Thomas Henry Rae is very nice.
