Just realised (I think) that you mean Archer's her older sibling (DS?), and little sister's to be either Margot or Cecilia? In which case, see above; I love Cecilia. Archer and Cecilia go nicely together, IMO.

Bit confused, and definitely being a bit dim:
do you mean Archer's your surname and you're asking if either Margot or Cecilia suit it (no middle name, or when she's only needing to use Margot Archer/ Cecilia Archer...i.e. at school).

Or that Archer would be her middle name?

I love Cecilia in any case (and NN "Cece" or "Cici", both pronounced CeeCee, sound cute).

If I'm honest, Archer as an actual girl's name doesn't appeal to me hugely...fine as a surname, though!

They don't go together for me. Margot and Cecilia both have older origins and are French/Latin. Archer is one of the modern occupation-surname used as a forename type names, with Anglo-Saxon roots. I don't dislike them, but they don't gel together with Archer, imo.

Having said that, I think Margot goes a bit better than Cecilia.
