Do you think the names Margot or Cecelia go with Archer? Looking for little sister names!

I think they're different stylistically from Archer, which is more of a surname-type name.

I like both! I think "Margot Cecelia" would be lovely...though I do like the nickname Cece... Hmm, depends what your surname is.
Both suit Archer, try shouting them both together, see which feels easiest to say! Ha

They all go well! I'd go with Margot or Cecily (don't like Cecelia very much - somehow a bit matronly sounding compared to Cecily which I love)

I think they both go nicely and agree with previous posters that I think Margot works best with Archer. I think they make an lovely, memorable and interesting set!!

OP, both are lovely names but I think Cecilia is more timeless. Margot seems to be having a bit of a popularity spike atm.

They sound like characters out of a 1930's American novel.. Fitzgerald or HemingwayGrin. Particularly Margot and Archer!

I think Cecilia and Archer go better. But both names to me are brilliant, they have been on my list for a long time!

I really like Margot and Archer together. As pp said they're both quite vintage. We have also considered both of these girls names. I slightly prefer the spelling Cecelia over Cecilia. Either name would be great.

Also like Cecilia best out of the two- to me, Margot is a bit 'of the moment' - Cecilia is an underused classic and has a different sound altogether from Archer.

I think they go together. Archer is not a modern name - my great-grandfather was Archer, born in 1886.

I prefer Cecelia (spelled like that, ideally) because I adore the nn Celia.

Not loving the '-go' part of Margot.

I think they both go perfectly well with Archer.

Marilyn yes Archer is the older brother - sorry not clear! If we go down the Cecelia route then we need to decide which spelling to use, I've seen both options and can't decide. I like CeCe and Celia from Cecelia, but I like Cecilia too. That's a whole other postSmile. I think we're veering toward Margot right now, but it changes every day.

Cecelia with an e rather than i also gives the option of NN Celia, of course; out of curiosity, is that why you prefer it? I've not come across that spelling before.
