Hell all, first post here.

Is Millie suitable for a boy or a girls name?

Defiantly a girls name

LynetteScavo · 17/01/2017 18:20

I know men called Milly but only because it's a nickname based on surname.

I wouldn't call a boy Wrighty or Smithy though.

Millie is a girls' name!!!

There is a male author who goes by Mil Millington, but his real first name is Robert.

MiddlingMum · 17/01/2017 18:10

I've known quite a few Millies. They are all girls.

Millie for a boy?

That's cruel

harderandharder2breathe · 16/01/2017 17:53

Definitely girl

Roseandbee · 16/01/2017 17:31

I'd say Millie is a very feminine, pretty sounding name

sonlypuppyfat · 16/01/2017 06:59

We call lady bits millys in our house, I just thought I'd throw that in!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/01/2017 22:52

Definitely 100% girls name. A boy would have a terrible time being called Millie

Grufallosfriend · 15/01/2017 22:38

Maybe nickname for Miller?

OSETmum · 15/01/2017 21:40

Millie is definitely not a boys name!

GinIsIn · 15/01/2017 21:37

Another vote for Balonz - it's very 2017....

Redpramlady · 15/01/2017 21:36

Girls! No no no for a boys name! :-)

user1484512210 · 15/01/2017 21:02

I did think it was a girls name but a friend of mine suggested it could be suitable for a boy, just thought I would see what others thought!

Thanks :)

You have to ask?😳

BlueberryGateaux · 15/01/2017 20:44
Hmm
Zippidydoodah · 15/01/2017 20:43
Confused
Manumission · 15/01/2017 20:42

Yes! Balonz NN Billy/i.e. is wonderfully unisex.

Do you live in Surrey OP?

Catdogcat · 15/01/2017 20:41

Girl definitely.

If you wanted a similar sounding boys name maybe Milo?

JuniDD · 15/01/2017 20:40

Balonz is a lovely unisex name, why not choose that?

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 15/01/2017 20:38

I can't think of any boys names that can be shortened to Millie (maybe Maximilian, but there are loads more obvious nicknames than Millie).

Manumission · 15/01/2017 20:37
Grin
Kathsmum · 15/01/2017 20:37
