Hiya! Help required, I think I have exhausted every girls name in the English Language and cannot find a name I like, I did like Darcy until I read it was number 5 on the most popular girls names. I want something, unique and beautiful that people will remember hearing. Not much to ask? Im due next month with DD so running out of time! Any suggestions?

My little one is Nancy. I liked Elsie, Daisy, Jessica and Emily.

Would you consider a twist on Sara for the first? Sarai? Zara/Zari? Seren?

Doesn't Dulcie sound like dull? Or am I mispronouncing it?

DearMrDilkington · 02/01/2017 21:58

What about Dulcie? Very similar to Darcy but not as popular.

SarahOoo · 02/01/2017 21:55

Our baby girl is due in April and we've agreed a traditional name but I really love Aspen!

QueenyLaverne · 02/01/2017 21:52

Others I like are
Darcy
Derby
Coral
Ariel
Luna

QueenyLaverne · 02/01/2017 21:49

Otterlie and Ottie for short

Iris?

Aquamarine1029 · 02/01/2017 21:45

What about Aubrey? Aubrey Sara is quite nice.

Glitterous · 02/01/2017 21:01

Darcy isn't number 5.

Dulcie is similar sounding but much less popular

MerryMarigold · 02/01/2017 20:32

Juliet is very pretty imo. I find Rosalie a bit twee, I don't think it's like Darcy at all (which I like, it's quite 'unisex'). Although Darcy Sara doesn't sound too good - too much 'sssss' going on.

How about other surname names? Gray? Robyn?

I also like Grace and Laura. Charlotte.

Eleanor?

1horatio · 02/01/2017 20:08

But Rosalie Sara sounds really pretty imo.

1horatio · 02/01/2017 20:07

Our short list was
Miranda
Louisa
Clarissa
Lilia
And Lilja, btw. But maybe not with Sara as a middle name...

Backhometothenorth · 02/01/2017 19:50

Mm none of my faves flow with your middle name but I think these sound lovely

Audrey Sara
Lorelei Sara
Eden Sara

And yes Rosalie Sara

annandale · 02/01/2017 19:49

I like Darcy, I really wouldn't worry about there being lots of them about. I don't know any, though my children are older.
