Middle name. Is there a name in the family that you could use? Like maybe your, your DM or DMil's first name? I would chose something quite feminine without being too flowery. For some reason, I'm thinking of something like Eden Margaret Surname or Eden Sarah Surname.

Great response thanks all! Middle name next ..

I think that Eden's shortened to Ede or Edie is fine. Edith is just about ok but I used to work with a French Edith, but IIRC it was pronounced Ed-eet. She sort of anglicised it to Ediff

SausageSoda · 31/12/2016 13:07

I love Edie but don't like Eden. I know one and she tends to go by just Eden though some people shorten it to Ede (pronounced as if it rhymes with speed)

MikeUniformMike · 31/12/2016 11:58

I know an Eden. Known by all as Ede.

everythingis · 31/12/2016 11:27

Fab

ChocoChou · 31/12/2016 11:19

I love it but have two on DH's side called Eden, one child and one adult - both male funnily enough. I think on the continent it might be considered more of a boys name? (Pronounced Edd-un rather than Ee-dun)

I love it for a little girl though Smile

ACubed · 31/12/2016 11:05

I knew a little girl called Eden and always thought it was a lovely name. I'd go three syllable middle name. It can't think of any sorry! X

T2016 · 31/12/2016 11:00

I have only ever heard of 1 Eden and know none in our area! :) any middle name suggestions? Surname 2 syllables

Eden is lovely (but I don't like Edie and would probably pronounce that Ed-ie not Eed-ie)

Sierra259 · 31/12/2016 04:55

I prefer Edie to Eden and they are both very popular round here (south west London)

Stalingrad · 30/12/2016 23:40

I know a male Eden. I don't love it forNeither sex. Edie is sweet but better as a nn for Edith.

Yika · 30/12/2016 23:29

Eden is lovely.

T2016 · 30/12/2016 23:24

Edith a bit too old fashioned imo

BobbieDog · 30/12/2016 21:25

I always thought Eden was a boys name.

I dont like it sorry

MollyHuaCha · 30/12/2016 21:23

Edith with nn Edie.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 30/12/2016 21:19

I like it

Lovelongweekends · 30/12/2016 21:19

T2016 · 30/12/2016 21:17

Eden with Denny for a nn.

Nonameyet1 · 30/12/2016 20:59

I named my child Eden this year and love it.... obviously!

Vixxfacee · 30/12/2016 20:57

Love Eden but dislike edie.

VioletRoar · 30/12/2016 20:56

Beautiful name!

UnicornPee · 30/12/2016 20:54

I like Eden but unfortunately it's not popular where I live as it's the name of the large river that runs through the city that flooded 2000 homes last December

marmitecrumpets · 30/12/2016 20:53

Love love love Eden
