Hi, dd's name will be one of these. Possibly with the other as a middle name. Which would you go with?

I like them both but prefer Frances.

I know a Joanna Frances, goes by Jo. She's lovely!

Sophronia · 28/12/2016 23:05

Joanna Frances is lovely

AHintOfStyle · 28/12/2016 23:05

Definitely Joanna though the spelling Johannah is also lovely.

LastGirlOnTheLeft · 28/12/2016 23:04

Joanna!! It is such a beautiful name. I love how it dances off the tongue and is almost like a song. Frances is nice but sounds quite boring in comparison. Joanna Frances is gorgeous!!!

Thurlow · 28/12/2016 23:01

Joanna. It was top of my list if DS had been a girl. Beautiful name. Plus you can get the nickname Joanie too which is ace.

SausageSoda · 28/12/2016 23:01

Frances.

I love Frances. So dignified. I wanted it for my dd, but family reasons prevented me.

TheDowagerCuntess · 28/12/2016 22:59

Definitely Frances - that bit more distinctive, and more nn options.

I prefer Joanna, so Joanna Frances.

FuzzyWizard · 28/12/2016 22:56

I love both. I think I'd edge towards Frances though.
