Can I use this spelling? It's my favourite way, but will people assume boy?

I've only met girl Darcy's, but wouldn't think it odd for either. I like it

I don't think so? It used to be used for boys - as Darcy (the original spelling) but people tend to use Darcey for girls, but I still prefer Darcy. It's Irish, I think? Meaning dark?

It's quite a recently coined name isn't it? There must be flexibility in the spelling of a non-established name.

I like it - I don't assume either gender with that name
