Not a fan of either name, however I really dislike Joe, so on that basis I choose Daniel.

Daniel (but I'm biased, as my lo is called Daniel. We had a surprise so had to choose one of each. And straight away we both loved Daniel for a boy.
We now have a 15 month old Daniel who we couldn't be more proud of

DS3 is due in Feb and we've chosen Joseph Daniel for his name Grin so obviously I think they're both lovely.

My personal choice is obviously Joseph but Daniel is also lovely, classic and timeless.

That's probably not much help OP, but I do think you've got great taste Smile
