Hi,

We are looking for the perfect name. We think we have found it: Jae.

We are living in London, so need something that works here. Jae does :-)

What do you think of it?

Thank you very much,

Mrs Kim

I would possibly think your child is a girl and you're trying to spell it more of a feminine way. It will be misspelt as Jay all the time.

MrsKim24 · 05/12/2016 14:44

James isn't Korean, so that wouldn't work :-)

Personally, I would register the name as something more classic, like James, then shorten it to Jae.

MrsKim24 · 05/12/2016 14:43

Because Jay isn't the same

Jay works pretty well in London I'd imagine Smile

SausageSoda · 05/12/2016 14:43

Why not spell it Jay instead of Jae?

MrsKim24 · 05/12/2016 14:42

We need something that works in London/UK :-)

I would think he was called James abbreviated to Jay, I like it though

Sparklingbrook · 05/12/2016 14:40

The child will probably have it misspelt as Jay a lot.

What is the London thing about?

MrsKim24 · 05/12/2016 14:38

...to rhyme with play :-)

How is it pronounced? Is it Jay (to rhyme with play) or Jai (to rhyme with pie)?
