Help!!

Getting so confused now and can no longer even decide if I actually like what I think I like (if that even makes sense, just herring name stress now) so comments welcome on the below names:

Ada
Alice
Edith
Elena
Emma
Frances
Francesca
Hazel
Julia
Margaret
Maria
Martha
May
Nora
Pearl
Rosa
Ruth
Valerie
Violet

Any alternatives welcome as most of them probably fall under the same style. Don't want anything super popular but at the same time don't want super unusual either.

I don't normally bother with these as it takes to long but I'm bored so here goes!

Ada - nice, I know two under two (one is Adaline)
Alice - dull, dull, dull
Edith - Edie is nice
Elena - lovely but Ellie is eugh
Emma - also dull.
Frances - yuk
Francesca - beautiful
Hazel - is becoming more popular
Julia - Roberts eugh
Margaret - Thatcher even worse
Maria - great. Not many Maria's around
Martha - middle class hipster
May - refreshing as a first name. Prefer Mae
Nora - Bone??
Pearl - quite cool
Rosa - pretty
Ruth - nice
Valerie - 50 year old accountant
Violet- lovely but becoming popular

May on it's own I think is very nice, you see all these Lily-may/i/e etc I think just May is refreshing, elegant and suits any age.

Ada would be my second.
