River for a baby boy

Hi ladies,

My husband and I love the name River for a boy but we are aware that it is a bit out there. What do you think of the name? Have you ever met anyone called River? Realistically, if he went to a nice school, do you think he would get teased.

Would love to hear from anyone with thoughts or comments on this!

Normally I hate nature names - or any names which are things, Hazel/Willow/Autumn/Summer etc. But I do love River - mainly because of River Phoenix who I adored. It's a cool name. Whether his mates will agree when they're 14 is a different matter.
