Marie

Ilovenannyplum · 28/11/2016 22:26

My whole family call me Lullabelle, I bloody hate it.
As a Louise in her late twenties, I would urge you to really think about Belle as the middle name Confused

DoYouRememberJustinBobby · 28/11/2016 22:16

Louise Cora
Louise Alexandra
Louise Hope
Louise Joy
Louise Elenora

Louise Belle sounds a like a pet name you might evolve to call someone in a sing songy voice when changing nappies. Louise Isobel is however lovely. Louise Isobel Grace would be beautiful if you consider two middle names.

HardcoreLadyType · 28/11/2016 13:19

Louise Belle is lovely. You can call her Lulu-Belle!

pullingmyhairout1 · 27/11/2016 20:22

Louise Rose.

Someone told me Louise was a middle name. Codswallop. It's lovely as a first name.

twofloorsup · 27/11/2016 20:17

Marie is a lovely name but out of the question as its a close friend's name so doesn't feel right.

I love the name Louise, like a pp I also think Louise Marie flows really nicely Smile

Onenerfwarfrombreakdown · 27/11/2016 09:41

No real ideas from me but just wanted to say Louise is a lovely name and you don't hear it used for little ones so often now. The Louise's I know are all in their 40/50s (and are all fab people Wink).

It is most definitely NOT just a "middle" name - what rot Grin

Yika · 27/11/2016 09:34

Louise is a lovely name.

Louise Belle is fine I think and would be perfectly good also for an adult.

Louise Rebecca
Louise Alba
Louise Alina
Louise Ramona
Louise Sophie

Salmotrutta · 27/11/2016 09:24

Someone up thread mentioned Marie - I think that works very well, it sort of "fits".
Louise Marie

Or how about Maria - Louise Maria sounds lovely too.

Thank you for all your replies.

I'm a Louise, my middle name is Julie (my mums name)

You have excellent taste in first names OP Grin

Louiseisnotjustamiddlename · 27/11/2016 06:49

I'm a Louise, my parents couldn't think of a middle name to go with Louise so I didn't get one, I always wanted one though.... I used to get loulabelle as a nn (still do from my mother occasionally!) and don't really mind it. Louise Belle is nice, but I think it does sound better as a more "formal" middle name such as Isobel as mathanxiety says above though.

Also - I loved being the only Louise in my school, until I went to university where I was most put out that there were more of us!

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 27/11/2016 02:58

No one will ever hear her full name.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 27/11/2016 02:57

What about a family name? It doesn't need to 'go'.

mathanxiety · 27/11/2016 02:07

if 'Belle' appeals to you...

mathanxiety · 27/11/2016 02:06

I would use Louise Isabella or Louise Isobel, if 'Bella' appeals to you.

I prefer Louisa Belle to Louise Belle. I don't think Louise Belle flows very well.

I agree with posters who suggest a long middle name and also one that begins with a vowel.

twofloorsup · 27/11/2016 00:02

Louise Belle was actually what I had in mind but I don't know if it sounds ok as an adult name ?

Love the name Louise and agree that it's underused as a first name.

If you like one syllable names...

Louise Grace is lovely!

MichaelBuble · 26/11/2016 22:46

Louise Claire Smile

HardcoreLadyType · 26/11/2016 22:43

Yes, I like Grace. Lots of people use it as a throw away middle name, though.

Use it if you want. I'm just a randomer on the internet!

twofloorsup · 26/11/2016 09:55

I like Grace actually Smile
