No it is like having a Jack and a Daniel or Sam and Ella!

Jooni · 25/11/2016 07:15

I agree that Louis might be better instead, sorry. Or how about Lewin?

rainbow99 · 24/11/2016 21:45

I think it wouldn't be quite as obvious if you already had a Lewis and wanted to call ds2 John, as you'd naturally use Lewis first. What about Louis?

meditrina · 24/11/2016 19:21

Or Jack and Wills?

Or (and there are many of these) Isabella and Oliver?

I do remember a good spoof baby name thread about Phil and Ted Grin

TheTartOfAsgard · 24/11/2016 19:18

What about Louie?

MikeUniformMike · 24/11/2016 19:15

William and Benjamin? John and Edward? Thomas and Jeremy?

NeedABoysName16 · 24/11/2016 19:11

A colleague of mine has a Sam and Ella Grin Grin

How do you manage to name your second child without saying their names together out loud Shock

Gazelda · 24/11/2016 15:10

If you're Feeling sloaney you could maybe have a Harvey and a Nick?

QueenOfTheNaps · 24/11/2016 15:08

Sorry, I don't think you can...

I went to school with an Ernest Jones poor sod

DoYouRememberJustinBobby · 24/11/2016 15:05

Oh no, terrible ideal.

Sophronia · 24/11/2016 14:25

I went to school with a John-Lewis (about 8 years ago) 😄

Costacoffeeplease · 24/11/2016 14:19

Well go for mark and maybe you'll have a spencer later

CakeRattleandRoll · 24/11/2016 14:13

You could if you emigrate to Australia. No John Lewis here. But probably a bit extreme.

treehugger10 · 24/11/2016 14:03

Yeah, probably not going to happen when DS is John... No Mark or Spencer here!

OP posts:
starsinyourpies · 24/11/2016 14:01

I also prefer Mark and Spencer.

Costacoffeeplease · 24/11/2016 13:58

Oh go on, Mark and spencer definitely

strawberrypenguin · 24/11/2016 13:50

Nope sorry. For the same reason I couldn't call DS2 Eliot when we already had a Billy

QueenMe · 24/11/2016 13:49

True Lest.

I assumed they didn't eat curry so wasn't aware...Confused

LestatVonGaribaldi · 24/11/2016 13:47

No way QueenMe!!! Grin

There was that infamous twin name rejection, Benson and Hedges. I think new Zealand (might be wrong / could be an urban myth)

ThisPasadenaHomemaker · 24/11/2016 13:47

No!

Mark and Spencer would be equally bad.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 24/11/2016 13:47

No!

mumblechum0 · 24/11/2016 13:46

No. Nor can you have a Ben & Jerry, or a Frankie & Benny.

Sorry Smile

JenTeale · 24/11/2016 13:45

No. Bad idea. Sorry

QueenMe · 24/11/2016 13:44

Though I have come across a Josh and Rogan

QueenMe · 24/11/2016 13:44

No , sorry.

But that's probably why you like them together......

Convince yourself your lo's are called john and Lewis. Reverse psychology. You'll change your mind
