Do you think it's tacky to use princess as a middle name ? I would use it as a first name but dp won't have it .. see previous thread julia alicia rose is an option and Lilly rose . But now I'm thinking julia princess Alicia rose or same with Lilly as I really would love to include it somewhere if I'm not allowed to use it as a first name ..I also love julia winter rose but mad struck on princess being used somewhere !

What about Khaleesi?

ProseccoBitch · 22/11/2016 19:38

Please don't Confused

oldlaundbooth · 22/11/2016 19:34

I actually knew a kid in real life called Princess.

Not good. The poor child.

She had a very fairytale like surname too.

GinIsIn · 22/11/2016 19:33

Is this for a human?

Sophronia · 22/11/2016 19:30

Yes, Julia Winter Rose is lovely

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/11/2016 18:32

Julia Winter Rose is lovely, OP, don't think any further !

CakeRattleandRoll · 22/11/2016 15:16

I think Julia Winter Rose is beautiful.

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 22/11/2016 14:25

Why not use Sarah/Sara instead. They mean princess and are classic, but not overly used these days.

I think it's fine if it's just a middle name. I don't even know of anyone other than myself who actually uses their middle name??

HollowTalk · 22/11/2016 13:46

So Winter would be a middle name?

Maudlinmaud · 22/11/2016 13:38

Winter Rose is beautiful and quite different.
My dcs have lovely but very normal names so I like when I hear something unique. Princess is a bit much imho but each to their own.

Leopard12 · 22/11/2016 13:32

Princess is not a name!
Your dd will be laughed at and talked about, middle names are still included on ID including drivers licence she'll probably use as ID for drinking and on any certificates including qualifications.
And yes I would definitely associate it as 'chavy' and very 'unclassy'.

KlingybunFistelvase · 22/11/2016 13:12

I love Julia Winter Rose!

MrsHathaway · 22/11/2016 12:38

I think Julia Winter Rose is splendid. Julia underused and Winter Rose far more interesting than plain ubiquitous Rose.

If you like Lily do please spell it like the flower (lily) without any extra L or fluffy IE on the end. I think Lily Rose is just too flowery, not to mention being the full name of every tenth child in 2008 - the others all being Lily May or Ruby May.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 22/11/2016 12:35

Don't be silly

bea1994 · 22/11/2016 12:32

I just think there's something pretty about it what about julia or Lilly and then winter rose

Would you use other titles at middle names?

James Lord Roberts
Archie Admiral Clarke
Ffion Dame Jones
Georgia Duchess Higginbotham

No? Then please don't use princess, as pp said it's a title, not a name. except a made up one used by a stripper

MissBattleaxe · 22/11/2016 12:14

She can be your little princess without you putting it on her birth certificate.

RusholmeRuffian · 22/11/2016 11:45

Princess is utterly dreadful. Please don't inflict it on your child.

Mungobungo · 22/11/2016 11:43

Princess is a title, not a name IMO.
The original names that you've suggested were beautiful, elegant, classic and not overused.

BreatheDeep · 22/11/2016 11:42

Yes it's tacky. Sarah means princess - use that instead!

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 22/11/2016 11:42

No. Don't do it.

Enjoythelittlethings · 22/11/2016 11:42

You've picked some beautiful names... Adding Princess just totally ruins it... Sorry!
