Morag is about as attractive sounding as Edna to my ears . I would hate to be called it.

Knew a nice Morven at school. Also knew a nice Morag but it still makes me think of 1) cow from Fully Booked 2) the witch from Ewoks (80s cartoon version)

Morven. The more I say it, the more I like it. I'm more familiar with Morag but like it less as it sounds harsh and dreary.

I love Morag pronounced the Lowland way, but not so keen on the Highland way. If you're going for the Highland way then I'd prefer Morven.

All the people I've known of either name have been lovely though.

I Like Morag but it reminds me of the cow from Fully Booked.

Morven sounds like a fairy name, quite delicate and fey.

My friend has a beautiful little girl called Morven. I find Morag makes me think of a witch character in a kids storybook.
