I love the name Imogen - Immy as nn - and have a bit of name regret that we didn't call my 4 month old DD this. Can't remember why we crossed it off the list at the time.

It's a lovely name but incredibly popular. Nn is usually Immy but I'm liking some of the other variations (not Imo though, that spoils a very pretty name).

I love it but then I have one! She's mainly Immy but seems to be having a preference for being called her full name now that she is 'a big school girl' Smile

Oh I love love love Imogen! If I had another DD she'd be Imogen. I probably wouldn't shorten it.

I like it, mainly because I like Immy as a nickname.

However, the Imogen I know goes by Gen (prn. Jen).

I know one who goes by Immy, and I've heard of Gen/Jen/Jenny as a nn too.
