As a name for our 12 day old daughter or does it make you think of ambulances and nee naws?

She has an elder sister and brother (Katie and Liam)

Thanks!!!

Thanks for advice everyone. Just to let you know we finally decided. She's to be Christina Elizabeth but known for now as Nina. Pleased we finally decided!!!

Oops thought you meant bell as middle name.

As surname not a problem as long as her middle name isn't nina.

SarcasmMode · 13/11/2016 20:24

Nina Isabelle would sound better.

ruthietoothie · 13/11/2016 20:18

honeybee - Iris is lovely too. Good luck deciding. And thanks for suggestion Margiebargie - thinking might have Christina as full name but can't decide...

I like Nina as a name.

I wouldn't have made the link but it's also going to be a fairly short lived childish thing if anyone does.

Go for it!

margiebargie · 13/11/2016 20:11

How about Antonina Bell if you want to balance the names out more?

Honeybee79 · 13/11/2016 20:08

Ruthie - we're down to either Nina or Iris.

Pluto30 · 13/11/2016 20:07

I love Harry Potter and didn't make the Katie Bell connection, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. She was a minor character. Smile

ruthietoothie · 13/11/2016 19:57

Totally missed the Katie Bell harry Potter connection. Will have to Google! Honeybee exciting that Nina in your top two. Whats the other contender?

Honeybee79 · 13/11/2016 18:32

Hi - Nina is in our top two for DD. I had the same concerns as you as someone else mentioned on a thread I started that the name had nee-naw nee-naw connotations. These had never crossed my mind before someone else mentioned it!

I think it a lovely, classy name. We only have one other contender!

Bookishandblondish · 13/11/2016 16:11

There is a published author by the name of nina bell. So obviously works.

sortthetacheoutbernard · 13/11/2016 15:55

Nina is a beautiful name.

SansasEscape · 13/11/2016 15:48

Does Katie Bell's Harry Potter connection get picked up?

Damelo · 13/11/2016 15:48

Georgina Bell (nina)

Sophronia · 13/11/2016 15:46

I really like Christina with Nina for short

ruthietoothie · 13/11/2016 15:43

Thanks. Mrs Smith and Spunkey Monkey -I think we have really over thought this one. But so pleased you think it works!!

SpunkyMummy · 13/11/2016 12:19

But if her other sibling don't have middle names I honestly wouldn't give her one either.

And Nina Bell is really lovely.
