RIGHT?!

I used to love this and it's just come onto my radar a minute before I posted this but is it crap? Just let it sink in for a second. Do you know any? Do I sound desperate?

I think it is one of those names that you can carry off if you are middle class and have a nice accent and lots of money. But if you are not, people will derm it chavvy and think of Bianca's dd in Eastenders.
Fwiw, I really do like it and think it is very petty but I just don't think it transcends the horrible class divide Britain has.

StarOnTheTree · 08/11/2016 17:43

I love it

Hmmm I thought it would be a mixed bag. I can't tell if it's hormones or if I genuinely like names atm...

My 11 year old has decided that when she has twins she is naming them Tiffany and Ellie.

That alone is enough to put me off.

CanandWill · 08/11/2016 17:35

Haven't you heard op? You can only pick a name from one of the 10 pre-approved names on this board.

NataliaOsipova · 08/11/2016 17:32

I know one. She's very nice. In her 40s. There was a teenage pop singer in the 1980s called Tiffany and obviously the jewellery shop. It's not classic, but it's not awful (in my opinion, anyway!)

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 08/11/2016 17:32

*There are

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 08/11/2016 17:32

There's some rude people on here. Confused

AliciaMayEmory · 08/11/2016 17:32

When I was about 11 or 12 I would have given anything to be called Tiffany or other similar American sounding names! Still makes me smile with nostalgia, so for that reason alone, I love it!

crazylittlething · 08/11/2016 17:31

I'm definitely not trailer trash tho

ProbablyMe · 08/11/2016 17:31

*Pratchett

ProbablyMe · 08/11/2016 17:31

Makes me think of Tiffany Aching from the Terry Pritchett books and therefore I love it!

crazylittlething · 08/11/2016 17:30

Never liked it

Onenerfwarfrombreakdown · 08/11/2016 17:28

Very 80s trailer trash, sorry. Shellsuits and white stilettos.

crazylittlething · 08/11/2016 17:27

I'm one!

BigGreenOlives · 08/11/2016 17:26

Know one in her 50s.

Yawninghippo · 08/11/2016 17:26

Sadly all I can think of is the Eastenders character or hear the 'fanny' part of it.

SausageSoda · 08/11/2016 17:24

Sorry, but I think it's crap. Very 80s IMO. Don't know any though unless you count the singer, the overpriced jeweller and Martine McCutcheon's character in Eastenders Grin

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 08/11/2016 17:21

Don't know any either-always a plus in my book!

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 08/11/2016 17:21

I love it!
